The 'Lewende Woord' Parow Assembly is dedicated to introducing the Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit, through the pure preaching of the Word, to all people.

To make disciples, equip them for spiritual service, and where we all reflect the glory of the Lord our God in everything we do.

A Family Assembly

A place where the love, grace and peace of the Lord prevails in us, where we worship Him, receive the Word, and where we increase in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

  1. We believe in one God, eternally existing in Three Persons, namely : Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  2. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary; that this same Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead; that He was taken up into Heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father, as the Intercessor: John 3:16; Luke 1:26-38; Matt 1:18-23; Isa 7:14.
  3. The Holy Spirit (the third person in the trinity) proceeds from the Father and the Son, and is of one substance, majesty, and glory with the Father and the Son: Matthew 3:16; John 14:16,17.
  4. We believe in one holy, general Christian church.
  5. We confess one baptism for forgiveness of sins.
  6. We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ - first the rapture and then the visible return.
  7. We believe in the resurrection of the flesh in a glorified body.
  8. We believe in eternal life.
